PROJECT RESEARCH AND COLLABORATIONS: The Tephrochronology lab analyses samples for USGS projects supported by the National Cooperative Geologic Mapping Program (NCGMP), USGS Global Change Research Program, USGS Pacific Coastal & Marine Science Center, Volcanic Hazards Program (VHZ), and Earthquake Hazards Program (EHZ). USGS Projects served by the Tephrochronology lab include:
