    Geologic mapping of Columbia River Basalt aquifers, NW Oregon, using classical field work augmented with geochemistry, aeromagnetic, and paleomagnetic methods (with Ray Wells, Marv Beeson, Terry Tolan, Jon Hagstrum, and Rick Blakely).
  • Stratigraphic and sedimentary petrology study of turbidites and other rock units (e.g., Point of Arches) of the northern Olympic Mountains, Cape Flattery-Clallam Bay area (with Parke Snavely, Jr.).
