3. San Jacinto faulting continues stepping right to other faults in the Lytle Creek fault zone and finally to the Glen Helen fault. 1-2 km of offset occurs on the middle strand of the Lytle Creek fault zone and ~12 km offset occurs on the eastern-most strand. The San Jacinto fault in the San Bernardino basin could have taken on a bending geometry at this time. Basin formation continues, its edges showing the stepping pattern the faults have taken.
