Recent or ongoing SCAMP investigations

SCAMP recently began a new geologic mapping investigation of the Santa Barbara coastal plain area, which includes parts of four 7.5' quadrangles. At present, work is ongoing in the Goleta and Santa Barbara quadrangles; later work is planned to extend eastward into the Carpinteria quadrangle and westward into the Dos Pueblos Canyon quadrangle.
