Yucaipa 7.5' Quadrangle

Recent or ongoing SCAMP investigations

The Southern California Areal Mapping Project (SCAMP) conducted geologic investigations in the Yucaipa 7.5' quadrangle as part of cooperative studies with the San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District (SBVMWD) to determine the geologic setting for ground-water resources in the San Bernardino Basin. The report also was prepared in cooperation with San Bernardino National Forest, where the information is being used to develop a geologic-map layer for a Forest-wide GIS.
