The Harmony Borax Works is located just off Highway 190, one mile north of the Furnace Creek Visitor Center.

Suggestions for your visit

A paved, 0.25-mile trail loops around the ruins of this borax processing plant. Wayside exhibits interpret the story of the mining operation that was active here during the 1880's. Check at the Furnace Creek Visitor Center for a schedule of ranger guided programs that are offered here during the cooler months.
