| Geology & Geophysics staff are actively involve in national and international energy assessment programs in collaboration with the USGS Energy Resources Program. The focus of recent research effort include evaluation of Arctic hydrocarbon resources, and groundwater resources with geothermal potential throughout the western United States. |  |
