Earth Science Day 2007 Exhibit List

**Please refer to the campus map for station locations.
An updated list will be made available upon arrival if there are any changes to the information below.

Station A

Our Micro-World: Students look through microscopes at shells of various marine organisms, and handle equipment used to collect and analyze them.

Dive into Marine Geology: Geology of plate tectonics and video of spreading ridges (hydrothermal vents)

Topo Salad Trays (Landforms in 3D)
Watch landforms take shape in 3D as you stack clear plastic trays with a contour line drawn on each. Also view shaded-relief maps and
3D images of the sea floor.

Station B

Earthquake Ride
The exhibit is designed to accommodate kids from K-6.  Older kids do not comfortably fit.  Exhibit illustrates the magnitude of earthquakes and the energy released by them.
